PAST PROJECTS

The ARK Foundation started out in 2015 as the Wonder Project. We wanted to make a contribution to the world around us, focusing on education, youth and poverty reduction.  Since 2015 we have partnered with the following organizations, to support both infrastructure and programming.

Create Change Foundation Canada and Building Walls of Wisdom

2015 Kpunduli kindergarten – 2 classroom school. Kpunduli, Northern Ghana.

2016 Manguli school renovation – 4 classroom school. Manguli, Northern Ghana

2017 Kpunduli school water tank and furniture provisions ,Kpunduli, Northern Ghana

Building Walls of Wisdom and School Box

2018 Los Laureles School – 1 classroom, washroom facility, furniture. Lasnoventas, Chinadega, Nicaragua

2019 Gabriela Tabora School – 1 classroom, furniture. Paso Hondo, Nicaragua

2016 – ongoing Northern Ghana (Tamale area) literacy development and program support.  Rural Schools Development.

Children's Cottage Society

2021-ongoing

Circle of Hope Member  - supporting highest needs of the organization, as they support children and families in Calgary.

Youth Achievement Awards Scholarships - awarded to Immigrant and Refugee youth in Calgary for post secondary education or upgrading.  (Calgary Bridge for Youth Foundation)
